Cozumel Palace - All-Inclusive

We could see the passing ships from our balcony, and the rooms were spacious and very nice. The not-so-secret tunnel to the beach is a great feature. The New Year's celebration was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Staff are friendly and helpful. It's centrally located, with an easy walk either way to sights, restaurants, and bars. I'd recommend this place. Thank you.

We've stayed here seven times, and the staff couldn't be friendlier. It's at most about 0.75 miles from town, an easy walk or a cheap cab or MOTO taxi. For scuba diving, the pier is especially handy because our boat picks us up and drops us off there. There's also a large pool with a bar and plenty of spots to lounge, plus a built-out beach area with its own bar and snorkeling from shore. The rooms are very basic but have a convenient mini fridge. There's a grocery store very close by, which we used a couple of times. We like having breakfast here, but the lunch and dinner food looks only meh. All in all, a very good place for a very good price.

The man-made beach is tucked away and has amazing views of the cruise ships and a wicked sunset. Staff were friendly, and I enjoyed staying here. Food choices were limited, which might suit people who don't want too many options. There's no WiFi in the rooms, but that can be nice for disconnecting. The TV connects to the internet, so you can still watch your favourite shows when it's too hot outside. Truly recommend.

I had an all-inclusive package. There was plenty of food, though the buffet quality wasn't the best. Breakfast was the best of the three meals, and the pool restaurant served good hamburgers and quesadillas at lunch. I was glad to eat at local restaurants for dinner several times during the week. The hotel worked really well for my week of diving in Cozumel. It is close enough to downtown to walk, or you can take an inexpensive taxi. There are dive lockers and rinse tanks on site, plus a nice pier for loading and unloading dive boat passengers. There's also a dive shop, though I used a different dive operator. They picked our group up at the hotel pier, and I could use the hotel's dive lockers all week. The grotto area, with a ladder, is great for a shore dive or weight check. Every staff member I met was friendly and wanted to make my stay comfortable. My room was very clean and good, overlooking the pool, and I loved the balcony view. Just be aware there isn't a coffeemaker in the room, though coffee is available in the lobby and restaurants. The smart TV had no reception because there was no internet connection in the room. I used my phone hotspot there or went to the lobby for WiFi. It's a good place to stay, and I'll come back next time I'm in Cozumel.
