Hotel Cuba

The floors and shower in my room were filthy. The floor hadn't been swept or mopped properly in a while: we found jewelry left by someone before us, sticky spills, a soap wrapper on the shower floor, and lots of dust and plastic wrappers under the bed. My feet were black after walking barefoot from the shower to the bed. The sink was clogged, there was black mold, and the shower door had a hole. The hotel is on a street with several bars and clubs, two very close by, so loud music went on until around 4 am. Our tour group, around 40-45 people, stayed at hotel Cuba for two nights, and they were the worst nights of the tour and the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Nobody in the group, over 40 people across about 20 rooms, found their room clean. Some had to ask to change rooms right away because their sheets were dirty or they found cockroaches. I wish I could add photos to show just how bad it was. If you're looking for somewhere to stay, look elsewhere.
