The sea view from my room was amazing, and waking up to it was a highlight. Puerto Libre Hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They arranged a car for the day and let me use a meeting room for an important video call, with reliable, great Wi-Fi. The location made arrival and departure easy, within comfortable walking distance of the port. I really enjoyed staying here and would definitely return.

We had a fantastic short stay at Puerto Libre. Our room was just right, and the road-front balcony looked out over the promenade. The front desk ladies were so helpful, even lending us corkscrews and USB chargers we'd forgotten. The location is ideal, a couple of blocks from the ferry terminal, and we'd absolutely recommend staying here when visiting Cozumel.

The beds were comfy, and the place felt clean and modern. I especially liked the cabinets, with drawers where we could tuck our luggage away. The hotel is quiet, the views are lovely, and the pool was a big plus. You can get pool towels from the front desk. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Rooms 108 and 109 are the exception: there’s no view, and the balconies don’t offer privacy. Away from those rooms, the location is ideal, with almost everything in downtown, including the ferry, within easy reach. I didn’t try the pool or breakfast, but I thought the hotel was good.

We started in a standard room with a king bed and a partial sea view, then decided to extend our stay and took the last room available, a Deluxe Double Room with Seaview. The view was amazing, though it had two smaller beds, which wasn’t ideal for a couple. We knew what we were booking, so no disappointment there. The room had what we needed, and the shower was comfortable with decent water pressure. One thing to watch for: the floor felt slippery under bare feet, almost like there was a film of soap on it.
