The room had a slightly odd smell, and the Wifi didn’t work at all. Still, the hotel was worth seeing, especially for what was easily the coolest architecture we saw in Mexico. The location was great, close to downtown markets and restaurants.

The location is awesome, and it might suit someone looking for a young vibe. But the place is a dump, with old, dirty rooms. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The service was terrible, and after staying here for a few days I felt sick. Dirt in the filthy rooms ruined several of my clothes, and I couldn’t wash the marks off. This is the worst place I’ve stayed in my life. Stay away!

The photos this place posts don’t match what it’s like inside. I’m talking specifically about the “bunker” rooms and the shared bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and pools. The place badly needs maintenance. In the rooms, the floors looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in years, with dust and trash around. The sheets were dirty, and the mattresses were uncomfortable and stained. The bathrooms were disgusting, especially the showers, where the tiles had mold. The kitchen wasn’t cleaned regularly, the stove was in terrible shape, and the dishes were filthy. Cockroaches were everywhere, particularly in the bathrooms and kitchen. Staying here was a complete nightmare, and I would never return.
