Quinta Suites

Carlos, the resident manager, is incredibly nice and hospitable, and the staff were just as friendly. The complimentary breakfast was nice, and the rate was very reasonable for what you get. My scuba gear had a rinse bucket and drying rack, which was a great touch. The suites are comfortable, very clean with daily cleaning, and equipped for cooking or eating in. The location is quiet, one block from the noisy main tourist street but close to everything. There’s a nice pool, an upper patio, and a rooftop patio on the third floor. Just perfect.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and Quinta Suites met all our expectations. The place was clean and well kept throughout, and we used the pool, BBQ, and covered patio almost every day. Carlos and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s near restaurants and everything we needed, but the area isn’t too busy or noisy. My wife and I stayed for several weeks and plan to return. We came back in late February and early March 2023 for another 8-9 days, and the superior room’s kitchen now had a hot plate, so we could do the extra cooking we wanted. It also had a rice cooker, coffee maker, blender, microwave, dishes and utensils. The standard room may have a hot plate too, but I only saw the superior one. There were also new sun loungers by the pool. I’d previously given the room four stars because the kitchen was missing some things I wanted, but I’ve updated that to five. The breakfast is a good start before diving, with toast, jams, rolls, yogurt, muesli, fruit, juice, and coffee. The location lets you walk to town in four minutes, while keeping you away from the foot and car traffic. Carlos cares about guests’ stays, and the two women helping with the property are genuinely happy to help too. It’s a very nice place with a great host and staff. Recommend!

I’m so glad I chose Quinta. It’s a sweet little place, a couple of blocks from the ocean, safe, and handy to everything. The rooms are clean, quiet, and have nice kitchenettes with a bit more space; the bedroom AC works great. The pool and palapa area were great, and the TV has plenty of options, or you can sign into your own services with the Fire Stick. The two housekeepers are lovely, and there’s free laundry. Carlos speaks English and Spanish fluently, and his recommendations were always spot on. There’s also a rinse and drying area for scuba gear.
