We didn’t sleep at all because of street noise, and the receptionist had the TV turned up even louder. When we complained, he said he had the right to watch TV. In the morning there was no hot water, just ice-cold water, and he said it had to be requested. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. The only response when we reported it was another room key. No apology, and nobody helped us move our bags. We’ve been in Mexico for months, and this was our worst stay. People here have been amazing, so this was our first truly bad experience. We’ve stayed in better places for less and regret not choosing somewhere else. There seem to be much better options around. Don’t go here.

We had paid in advance, but when we arrived at the end of July 2023, they told us there were no rooms. We changed rooms three times and nearly got into a fight with the young man at the front desk. The hotel seemed unable to manage the booking properly, and the service wasn’t worth the high price. Mitla itself is beautiful and very safe, but this hotel felt completely out of place. I wouldn’t recommend it. Stay away.

I wouldn’t recommend the hotel. The room was dirty, with an empty soda bottle left inside, and internet didn’t reach the rooms. Hot water took about five minutes to come through. The hallway lights shone straight into the room windows and really bothered me, so they should put up curtains.
