Grand Fiesta Americana Monterrey Valle

The breakfast and brunch buffet on the 4th floor was the best I've ever had, or could even have imagined. The variety, amount, and quality were amazing. I only ate there for breakfast and brunch, so I can't comment on dinner or room service. I spent 11 days here on a work trip, after a local coworker recommended it. The price was very reasonable for the accommodations, and the hotel's right in the middle of San Pedro's mall, shopping, restaurant, and sports complex area. The common areas kept changing to host public and private events, so there was always some celebration going on and the place never felt cold or dull. Everyone went out of their way to make the stay great. As an American who doesn't speak Spanish as well as I should for travel in Mexico, I appreciated that many staff spoke English, and anyone who didn't quickly found someone who did. The people were just as great as the property and amenities. Three days after checkout, I still can't think of a single bad thing. I felt more at home here than I usually do away from home, and I'm looking forward to coming back.

We were there for three nights, and Homero, Alejandro, and Pedro at the concierge desk were especially helpful. The rooms are somewhat small, but clean and renovated. The whole team was courteous and hospitable, and the service from the moment we arrived was excellent. We've stayed at other luxury hotels, but the staff here were particularly courteous. I'd definitely recommend it if you're visiting Monterrey.

My wife and I have never stayed at a better hotel. The staff, food, and service were great, and the amenities made it worth the price.

The rooms were clean, and the staff gave us exceptional service. I only had two small complaints: the bar shuts at 11 p.m., and the bed was softer than I like. It was comfortable, though. I just prefer a firm mattress.
