Safi Royal Luxury Metropolitan

The view of the city was beautiful, especially in the mornings and evenings, and the hotel felt modern and welcoming. I enjoyed staying at the Safi Metropolitan Hotel. It's in the luxury zone of San Pedro Garza García, just steps from Fashion Drive Mall, with gourmet restaurants, clothing boutiques, and beauty stores all within walking distance. It seems like a convenient, comfortable choice for either business or leisure in Monterrey, and I'd recommend it for easy access to shopping and dining.

I paid almost US$ 200 a night, but the refrigerator didn't work and the shower water switch was broken. The front desk staff weren't willing to put things right, and I had to ask them several times before they did. Absolutely the worst experience.

For a place that's supposed to be one of Monterrey's top five-star hotels, the customer service was shockingly bad. The staff were indifferent, dismissive, and unhelpful throughout. I found the lack of courtesy and professionalism unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone wanting a truly high-end experience.

My room included breakfast, and reception confirmed that when I checked. But the restaurant and reception never seemed to coordinate, and restaurant staff kept bothering me about it. The manager and servers all repeatedly insisted breakfast wasn't included. They stopped me several times and interrupted my meetings, turning what should have been a pleasant stay into a humiliating one. They're so unprofessional. I would never book this hotel again.
