The rooms are basic, but the bathrooms have been updated and were clean. There’s no A/C or heater, and while the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, there are plenty of places to eat nearby, including a Mercado a few doors down with food and crafts during the day. The staff were really helpful with recommendations, and there’s a secured garage. It’s in a prime spot for visiting the sanctuary, with spectacular mountain views and several terraces to enjoy them.

Stay away. The place wasn’t like the ads or pictures, and the staff were very rude. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, the beds were stained and so uncomfortable that we all slept in our clothes, and there were lots of bugs. There was a 2” gap under the door, just one power outlet, a lot of noise, and no toilet seat. And more problems besides.
