Best Western Hotel Crown Victoria

The review's rating is misleading. This place doesn't deserve a 4.3. My experience was awful: the toilet didn't work, there were cockroaches in the room, and the place looked filthy everywhere I looked. Maintenance was lacking and the shower was falling apart. I'd book somewhere else.

The hotel lets kids make noise in the gym late into the night without anyone stepping in. On top of that, I was parked at the end and had left an extra 18 inches so the car beside me wouldn’t ding mine. At 9:30pm, the front desk called and insisted I move it a little. I was already in bed, so I had to get up and do it. I wasn’t blocking anything. It felt like a security guard was throwing his weight around. Awful customer service. I won’t stay here again.

The beds were comfortable and the sheets clean, but the carpet was filthy enough to stain my socks. The room felt cramped, with little space to move around or put luggage, and the highway view wasn’t nice. It might work for a short business stay, but I wouldn’t pick it for a family trip.

We arrived late at night to find our reservation had been cancelled because we hadn’t supplied credit card details in advance. They had never asked us for those details. We were left in an unfamiliar city with nowhere to stay, and they wouldn’t even pay for a taxi to another hotel. Cancelling a booking this way is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place.
