Hotel Mercury Inn

A good place to stay while working. The restaurant’s food is good enough that you can eat there without needing to go out, though the dishes aren’t anything special. The waiters are very kind, and they make you feel well looked after.

Amazing hotel, with such kind people. Abraham, the concierge, was excellent during my stay. He always helped with my wheelchair or walked with me from my room to the vehicle, going above and beyond his job. I’d had surgery and was recovering for three weeks. The hotel had everything I needed and exceeded my expectations. The rooms were perfectly clean, accessible bedrooms are available if needed, and mini fridges can be requested.

Lunch at the Mercury Inn restaurant was a real highlight. The tables were beautifully laid with proper tableware, and although there was no lunchtime buffet when we visited, the menu had good options. I ordered the Fillet Mignon and asked to swap the rice for fries. It came just as requested, with red wine gravy, mushrooms, crisp vegetables, fries and garnish. I enjoyed it enough that I would have paid more for the dish. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and professional, and the service was excellent. Congratulations to Chef Antonio, and thank you.

The restaurant is decent, though pricey for what it offers, and the rooms are functional despite being basic and a little dated. The main drawback is the location beside the main road in Queretaro: traffic noise carries into the rooms. It’s well situated, but the hotel feels rather low-class.
