The location worked out perfectly, just a few minutes' walk from Querétaro's historic center and the restaurants. The hotel itself is stunning, with lovely architecture, palm trees, a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub. I booked the Master Suite and felt like royalty, especially with the whole room dedicated to a soaking tub. Everyone on staff was very friendly from check-in through checkout. A few people weren't comfortable speaking English, so having Google Translate ready helped. The room shower never got hot, just lukewarm no matter how long I ran it. The soaking tub, on the other hand, got very hot and was perfect. It wasn't a huge issue for my short stay. Dinner at the restaurant took a while, even though it was totally empty. The burger was delicious, but I'm not sure it was worth the wait or the language trouble. I'll stay here again on future trips to Querétaro.

They canceled our appointment at the last minute while we were waiting there, which ruined our anniversary. Then the staff were rude, tried to blame us, and we had to fight to get a refund.

Booking was easy through WhatsApp. The hotel is in central QRO, about a 40-45 minute drive from QRO airport, with lots of restaurants and pleasant walks around the city nearby. The staff were friendly, helpful and supportive, even with some language difficulties, and check-in was simple. My room was in good shape, looked out over the pool, and had a well-kept, well-stocked bathroom, a refrigerator and comfortable beds. Daily housekeeping was provided. There weren't enough English-language TV channels for me. There's a restaurant, made-to-order breakfast and a bar, plus a spa on the third level. The hotel doesn't have parking, but it offers valet parking.

The nice staff, restaurant, room and pool were all good points, but I can't overlook the lack of room security. Guests were given the same master key, which could open any room. Several of us were there for a wedding and found this out after a mix-up with the keys. The hotel knew about it, but didn't seem to consider it a problem or try to fix it. There was sometimes a sewer smell in the room, and the pool had a serious bee infestation. I wouldn't recommend staying there.

I booked a 90-minute Swedish massage and arrived five minutes early, but was still waiting 15 minutes past my appointment time. I got up and left, and told the receptionist why. That level of service is unacceptable. Very poor customer service, and I wouldn't recommend this spa.
