Hotel Mirage

We had our family reunion here and enjoyed staying at the hotel. The buffet was amazing, and everyone we met was helpful and friendly.

We feel welcome and comfortable at the restaurant, which is never too crowded. My family and I really enjoy the varied menu, especially the meat cuts, and the service is superb. The breakfast buffet is great too. I'd recommend it 100%.

It's a nice hotel, and the food is okay, but getting around isn't as accessible as I'd expected. A standard wheelchair barely fits in the bathroom, and there's no way to get into the shower. The elevators also need maintenance since some buttons don't work.

This was our family's second stay at Hotel Mirage, and I plan to come back. The older hotel is well built, spacious, and comfortable, with an elevator that works great, helpful service, and an outdoor seating area that's lovely in the morning. It could use some shade outside. The restaurant meal, though, was a real disappointment. We liked the cream of poblano soup, but the fettuccine Alfredo had an odd flavor and texture, and neither our 10-year-old nor the rest of us liked it. We left it uneaten. The seared snapper with vegetables and rice smelled so bad we sent it back. Maybe the kitchen staff stored or prepared it badly, but the chef is responsible for what reaches guests. The recipe choices and presentation need work, too. After a long day of travel, it would be nice to eat comfortably at the hotel. I hope the owner and management see this as a chance to improve something that matters to guests. The restaurant could bring in a lot of revenue. Guests already have a reason to eat there, and good food could also draw people from other hotels and encourage them to stay here next time. The restaurant is already built, so the food is what needs attention. Competition in hospitality is intense, and I want Hotel Mirage to succeed. I hope the restaurant serves better food when I visit again.
