Affordable lodging in Querétaro's historic center. There's no parking on site, but paid parking is available nearby.

The roof terrace is the only pleasant spot to sit, relax, or talk, but guests are told to leave at 9 pm. I saw this twice: people were quiet, not drinking, and just relaxing or looking at the view. One young woman was doing yoga. Staff drove them out rudely. The rule is posted, but it would make more sense to address bad behavior instead of people simply being there. Check-in at 3 pm is inconveniently late, and checkout at 11 am is early. The place feels run as if guests are a danger and might break or steal its cheap room items. Employees are threatened with having to pay if something is damaged or a towel stained, and that fear comes through in their unfriendly attitude. The service is basically nonexistent, and the towels, showerheads, toilet paper, and fixtures all feel cheap. It feels like being handled in a prison. Only stay here if you're okay with hostile treatment to save a little money. There are much better nearby places for just a bit more.

We wouldn't have booked if we'd been able to see the place beforehand. The room was small and felt like a hotel room, not the apartment it was advertised as. Noise from the street and neighbors was irritating, the floors weren't properly clean, and the toilet seat was coming loose.

The microwave and little fridge were useful for us, and the price was right. The place was new and clean, with a perfect location for exploring central Querètaro.
