The views are good, and the pool with its slides was a lot of fun. The staff were nice too. Food needs work, though, it was very salty and only just about acceptable. The rooms had a really tiny TV with no Netflix. There was no music in the bar, and it never opened. Fix the food and this place could be a 10.

We were eight in my family, and being together meant we still had a good time. The location is amazing, with plenty to do around the resort, and the pools are huge. But the water was cloudy and full of dead bugs, and the water slides didn’t feel safe. I nearly flew off one and had to grip the sides to slow down. The rooms are spacious but badly dated, with AC units that need replacing. Staff seemed unhappy and were very curt when we asked questions. This place needs a major overhaul. I wouldn’t come back, and think it should close for a few months to renovate the pools and rooms.

The customer service was great, and they even honored my special request. This place has a lot of potential, but the resort needs plenty of work. The food wasn’t good, the internet was weak, and the restaurant didn’t provide bottled water for guests. The bar at the other pool seemed to never open, and it’s up on the cabana’s third floor. Otherwise, I had a great time.

The location is beautiful, the rooms were very nice, and reception made a great first impression that set expectations for our vacation. The rest of the service didn’t live up to that. The on-site restaurant was far too expensive and took an hour to bring our food, even though only three tables were being served. I’m not sure if it’s a training problem. Security seemed focused only on keeping non-guests away from the pool, and didn’t have a service-minded attitude. The hotel seems to aim for five stars, with prices and security to match, but the service fell short. The resort and rooms also lack access for people with disabilities: there are parking spots, but they aren’t enforced, and there are no ramps or elevators. Our building had five floors and no elevator, with entrances only on the first and third floors. Maybe I expected too much, but it didn’t meet the five-star standard it seemed to be going for.
