Hostal del Centro Sayulita

For the price, this place is awful. The bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were filthy, and I never saw them cleaned during our four days. The owner and manager were hostile and unfriendly, and they charge extra for air conditioning. Then we were moved to another place that was basically an empty shell with just bedrooms and bathrooms. People who weren’t staying at the hostel kept coming in, and the party went on until 5 a.m. I had to find somewhere else to sleep because no one had things under control. I called the owner, but he didn’t even answer. Definitely not recommended.

The beds only had a sheet and a little rag for a blanket, and even the towels are expensive. We also found out Wi-Fi costs 30 pesos a day when we asked for the password. The man who greeted us was very unfriendly.

The central location is the only real plus, close to the main square and two blocks from the beach. The rooms weren’t cleaned, and the bathrooms were filthy, often without toilet paper or soap. There’s no Wi-Fi, and they charge for towels.

Really comfortable and clean, with a bar where the party is good. Breakfast is included and very tasty, for $350.
