Mi Otra Casa - Adults Only

The pool and rooftop were gorgeous, with beautiful views and a lovely place to relax. The location is hard to beat, right in downtown Sayulita, yet our room still felt peaceful and private. It was clean, comfortable, beautifully designed, and had a wonderful rain shower. We could watch whales from the patio, and binoculars were provided. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel welcome and went out of their way to accommodate us. We were even greeted with a bottle of bubbly. Mi Otra Casa is a real gem, and I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sayulita.

Rigoberto and his wife were so welcoming and accommodating during our beautiful stay. We hardly saw them, but they seemed to take care of things quietly, like little hidden fairies. We went down for coffee twice on the first day, and for every day after that there was a pot waiting at our door at 8 am. One day they surprised us with a bottle of bubbly in our room. We booked an extra suite for the private outdoor hot tub, and it was absolutely worth it. The ocean and city view was magnificent, and yes, they cleaned the tub every day. There is nightlife noise in the area. Even with the insulated windows shut, it was still moderately loud, and on most nights the music can go past 4 am. But after days in the sun, surf, and hiking, we slept so well in the extremely comfortable bed and heard nothing. They offer earplugs for light sleepers. I’d rate this place 11 out of 10 if I could.

The hotel sits on a little hill, and the view when you walk in is breathtaking. The pool on the first level is very cute, and the staff are kind, helpful, and do a great job making guests feel comfortable. Most rooms have AC and are very clean. You can request breakfast for an extra charge, and it’s amazing, don’t skip it! I brought a special friend to Sayulita for a few days, and the trip was unforgettable. The town has colorful shops selling food and gifts for all kinds of tastes. On our last night, the staff brought champagne, and we shared it on our balcony looking out over the ocean. You won’t regret staying at Mi Otra Casa.

Getting into town and down to the beach on foot was easy, and we loved soaking in the balcony bath while taking in that gorgeous view. The pool, room, and shared spaces were all really clean. Alicia and Rigoberto were such kind, accommodating hosts, and we had a fabulous time here!
