The staff are what set Paraiso de la Bonita apart. From restaurant workers and housekeeping to our personal butlers and management, everyone was professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. They often anticipated what we needed before we asked, and the service ranks among the best we've experienced. Our accommodations were beautiful, comfortable, and impeccably maintained, making for a relaxing, luxurious stay. The food was outstanding throughout the resort. Every restaurant offered meals comparable to a five-star dining experience, and room service was excellent too. Paraiso de la Bonita is a special property, and we'd happily come back for the combination of great dining, luxury accommodations, and world-class service.

We did the Temazcal experience, and it was honestly life-changing. I'd highly recommend it if you're staying here. Our room was amazing too, a ground-floor suite with an outdoor shower, plunge pool, and a stunning bathroom. A big thank you to our butlers, Catherine and Enrique. Their care and attention to detail went above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable. Paraiso de la Bonita exceeded our expectations. It's quiet, private, and relaxing, with beautiful grounds and lots of wildlife. We loved that it wasn't a party resort. There were always plenty of secluded places to relax, so we never had to rush out early to reserve chairs at the pool or beach. Every meal was a 10/10. Everything was made fresh to order, and the food quality was exceptional. The staff were warm, attentive, and focused on making sure we had what we needed. We stayed Diamond Club, which was worth it to us. It came with butler service, the Diamond Club restaurant, a private pool area, a lounge, and hydrotherapy at the spa. Those extra choices and quieter spaces made the stay even more enjoyable. We'd absolutely return and recommend it for a peaceful luxury getaway with great food and service.

Before the trip, we couldn't find a public email address for travel arrangements and got no replies to our emails. A few weeks out, I picked a specific room, then the choice was denied a few days before arrival, which made me wonder what the point of choosing was. We also got a sketchy WhatsApp message asking for a deposit through a suspicious link, even though payment was guaranteed through Marriott Bonvoy. The branding was confusing too. The app, website, emails, and papers we signed all showed different names: Royalton, Zoetry, Marriott Luxury Collection, or some combination. I don't really get it, but glad it all worked out. As of 12/2025, the resort seemed to be in a strange transition. The rooms were great, but the rest of the place felt run-down. Workers were out every day trying to improve it, but it still has a long way to go. The beach was completely unusable, though that wasn't the resort's fault. Service varied a lot by staff member. Catherine, Iran, Juanjo, and Luis were great, thank you, while some others weren't so good. Food was hit or miss, including dishes served freezer-cold. They corrected the mistakes, but it took time. Portions were small, though you could order more if you were willing to wait. Standard drink choices were disappointing for the price. Adults-only and all-inclusive sounded great, but it didn't feel like a Luxury Collection experience. Overall, it was an above-average stay, 3.5/5 stars. We paid 3500USD for a Diamond Club Presidential Suite. At that price, it was a decent stay. At the rates I'm seeing now, I might take off one star.

The Reserve building felt like the height of luxury, and we're already looking for an excuse to come back. We celebrated my wife's 40th birthday with my sister-in-law and her husband in the new Reserve section's "Chairman Two Bedroom Suite Ocean Front Infinity & Private Pool Outdoor Shower." It was easily the best room I've ever stayed in, spacious enough for all four of us. The huge heated private pool was always the perfect temperature, with a great view of the Reserve area and ocean, and stunning sunrises. Our butlers, Fernando and Enrique, went well beyond what we expected and genuinely cared about making the trip special. They helped arrange a private cooking experience with head chef Octavio, booked things around the resort, and even found cigars we couldn't get there. They also got us golf games at some incredible courses. The food at every restaurant was incredible. Octavio arranged a special birthday dinner with traditional food that wasn't on the menu, and it was amazing. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, especially waiter Roger, who made sure we got special dishes and drinks that improved every meal. We also had a couple of incredible massages at the spa, where Ariana made sure everything was perfect. I can't recommend this resort enough.

It's so calm and settling here that you can turn your brain off and just enjoy life. The food was out of this world good, and I would definitely come back. I'd highly recommend Diamond Club. It includes a personal butler who can help with virtually anything. There are activities on the property, like cooking and mixology classes and wine or tequila tastings. The resort shuts down at 11pm, though, so if you want to rage, be prepared to leave. We stayed on the property, and it was really nice to have that time to connect with each other.
