Hilton Garden Inn Silao Aeropuerto Bajio

The rooms were nice and clean. Having a free shuttle to Leon Bajio airport was really convenient.

I had an amazing stay. The food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Braulio at the front desk was very helpful, and his conversational English was enough for me to understand. The pool also has an amazing mountain view.

The conference rooms were decent, though a little small, and checkout was quick. Staff were friendly overall, which I appreciated. This is a decent Hilton Garden Inn in the middle of El Bajio in Central Guanajuato, but the room service and attention to detail need work. It's a modern hotel just off a busy freeway in Bajio’s business corridor. Check-in took a while, but they recognized my Diamond status and gave me a breakfast voucher. My spacious king room was on the fifth floor facing the road. The freeway noise went on day and night, and as a light sleeper I’d suggest asking for a room at the back. I asked about switching, but was told the Silao town festival was behind the hotel and loud at night, so I stayed put. The bathroom was clean and the room airy, but maintenance had to fix a bathroom problem. Afterward they only partly wiped the floor and counter with a rag, leaving stains and dirt behind. It was gross, and I didn't feel comfortable using the bathroom for the rest of my stay. There’s only a Denny’s nearby; for other food you need a taxi or Uber. I ordered a classic club sandwich from room service after being told it would take 15 minutes. It arrived after 35, and was mushy and gross, which was especially disappointing after the long wait. Breakfast was just decent. I had fruit and tea because the eggs were incredibly salty.

The location and rooms were good, and the service was excellent.
