The location made it easy to see Guadalajara, and El Parián is very close by. I stayed with my son, dad, and sister, and we all had a really good time. From day one, the front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It was a relaxing visit, and we’d happily return and recommend Hotel Dex.

The heated pool was a lovely place to relax after exploring, and it’s kept in great shape. There’s a continental breakfast and a full menu with American and Mexican dishes, all freshly made and delicious. Hotel Dex is close to Tlaquepaque’s galleries, cafés, restaurants, shops, cocktail bars, and lively streets. The staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are modern and well maintained, with comfortable beds, great showers, storage, an iron and ironing board, and a smart TV for streaming. They’re simple rather than luxurious, but have what you need. Depending on the room, you get a pool view or a busy street view, and the drapes and blackout blinds helped us sleep well. It’s become our favorite place to stay in Tlaquepaque.
