The rooms have Purepecha names, which I loved, and there are several room options at affordable prices. The hotel welcomed everyone who came in. I’d probably stay again, maybe in a room farther from the front desk, since you can hear everything happening there. There’s a big jug of water at reception, hot or cold, and you can bring a thermos and your own coffee supplies for the morning. A shop across the street has quick things to pick up, and a couple of blocks away there’s a lovely little plaza, though I can’t remember its name. The room I stayed in, tzitziki, had a charming lower level and loft, but the stairs felt weak and made a lot of noise. My bed was made and seemed clean, but there was a cup with liquid on the nightstand, perhaps left by the previous guest or by whoever cleaned. The towels were very worn and took a while to arrive, as did the shampoo and soap. The hot water also took forever to come through. They do accept credit cards, though payment takes a little while, which wasn’t a big deal. There was a TV, but we didn’t use it, so I can’t comment on it. I’m giving two stars because these details really need improvement.

It was horrible and disgusting. The room we got was extremely dirty, the window glass was broken, and there was noise all night. My son and I didn’t sleep at all because there were lots of bed bugs in the beds. The staff weren’t friendly either. I absolutely don’t recommend this place. 😷🤮🤢!!!!!!!

After a long day, it’s a decent family-friendly place to relax. If you’re too hot, the wading pool and pool may help, though the water is very cold. The rooms need more cleaning: they didn’t sweep or change the sheets, and the furniture could use some dusting.

I’ve had worse experiences, but I can’t recommend this place. The rooms were filthy and smelled bad, with no ventilation. They didn’t change the bedspreads or pillowcases, and there was hair everywhere, on the bed, floor, sink, and elsewhere. The bathroom was even worse. The water supply was unreliable, and when water was available, it was never hot. Awful.

The hygiene was terrible, and the facilities were in very poor condition. The hotel’s quality and cleanliness have declined a lot. Three of the rooms I booked were infested with bed bugs. I wouldn’t recommend it at all.
