There’s plenty of parking, and the location is good. The place was clean and had internet, air conditioning, and towels, though reception service could use some improvement.

Getting around from here is easy, with everything close by. There’s a Carl's Jr. beside the hotel and a DQ supermarket about 50 meters away. The rooms have had some improvements, and the location is excellent.

The cabins had AC and comfortable mattresses, and it was quiet and comfortable overall. The rooms did have a slight musty smell. Parking right in front of your cabin is handy. Breakfast in the morning is complimentary and continental, with cereal, toast, coffee, and fruit. Eggs made to order cost extra, prepared by the friendly woman at the small restaurant. There are shops, restaurants, a mini-market, Carl's Jr., and another hotel nearby. We paid $1,800 for three people in two double beds, which seemed reasonable for a stop while passing through Tampico. The restaurant lady and the morning receptionist were both friendly and upbeat. The afternoon receptionist, around 6:30 pm, came across as unenthusiastic or annoyed. Service from that receptionist was poor, maybe they were having a bad day. There was also an occasional cockroach in the restaurant bathroom.
