At $23 a night, with free breakfast, it was quite a bargain. The food was great, including the Mexican and Chinese food I love. Breakfast was mostly Mexican, while during the day I noticed Chinese food. The staff were friendly, the rooms were fine, and they can help you in English. Their English isn't perfect, but it's much better than you'd expect at a cheaper hotel in a foreign country. Parking was the only drawback. It wasn't a deal breaker for me since I mostly walk or use Uber, and I believe you can park nearby. For the price, it was actually pretty amazing. I'd definitely go back if I return to Tampico.

The staff were good and the rooms were clean, but it's an older hotel with several cockroaches and a musty smell in the room. The AC wasn't great; it took several hours before the room finally cooled down.

I only went there for dinner. The meal was good, though there could be some improvements. I might not go back. I'm a very hard-to-please customer and I like paying for good food, but this was really, really good.

For five years, we've held our Cachibol "Vida en plenitud" Mother's Day festival at This hotel. The service is good, the food is delicious, and the prices are good. It's a great hotel and a good choice for events.
