It's such a quiet, beautiful place up among the mountains, but the road there was really bad. We were halfway along and almost turned back. Make sure you bring insect repellent, because you'll definitely need it.

We only stayed a few nights, but I wish we'd had longer. It was so relaxing, literally up in the clouds. The service was truly excellent, and the dining and tour of the finca/plantation were great. The location is amazing if you can make it up there. I hope to return someday for a longer stay.

The coffee was amazing, and every dish we tried at the restaurant was delicious, from breakfast through late lunch or dinner. Tomas, the owner, and his family were incredibly kind. They also gave us a tour of the plantation, which is a must. This charming coffee plantation is well worth the drive. Highly recommend stopping here.

La familia Marin were staying in the cabins, and their drinking and loud noise kept everyone awake. They're supposed to be the rich people in town. I really loved the place, though, and the service was good.

It rains pretty often in the evenings. The trails felt reasonably safe to walk, and there were friendly people all around. The restaurant staff were super friendly and helpful, and the menu is excellent.
