The location made everything easy to reach on foot, and the hotel has a lovely authentic Mexican feel. The rooms are nice, the staff are very friendly, and even the little chapel is a great touch. Just perfect. 👍👍👍

They even had a special little bed for my dog, and let us park our motorcycle inside. Super nice of them! Wonderful stay.

The rooms are spotless and the beds are comfortable. You can choose air conditioning or just ventilation, and the difference in price isn't much. Rates start at $25 a night, which seems fair for what you get. The cleaning staff check each day whether you'd like the room cleaned, and there's security at night. It's easy to find food nearby, along with a barber and laundry service. The reception crew are relaxed, friendly, and seem to enjoy their work. Everyone else at the hotel was nice too, which made coming back after a meal even better. There's even a prayer room. I'd recommend staying here while in Tapachula. :-)

For two people in a king room, we paid 699 pesos a night. The secure parking is behind the hotel, with a guard carrying a pistol, and motorcycles can be parked inside. The neighborhood looked a bit rough, but there was plenty of foot traffic and it didn't feel unsafe. The town itself struck me as busy and dirty, and generally not very nice-looking. At the hotel, the staff were mostly polite and attentive, and housekeeping came by daily. The AC worked great. Hot water was unreliable, and the Wi-Fi was slow and kept dropping.
