Hotel de Campiña

The bed sheets were dirty, the pillowcases smelled awful, and we found bedbugs when we checked the blanket. Since we were there over a long weekend and couldn’t find another place, we nearly left but had to stay. We slept in our clothes and jackets instead of using the blankets.

There are useful shared spaces, including a kitchen and terrace with tea and coffee available around the clock. They also lend movies to watch in your room, and there’s good parking. The place is clean and they pay attention to details, though the price feels high for the room size. It’s a nice spot within a short walk of the city centre. I’d suggest it for couples because the rooms are small. When we arrived, there were flannel sheets on the bed, but when they handed over the keys they escorted us to take them off, saying they were “just decoration.” Why put them there if they’re only going to remove them? It looked worse without them.

A really nice place, and the rooms are super comfortable.

It’s beautiful, clean and quiet, and the location is great, close to Yerbabuena.
