The manager was incredibly kind and always ready to help, and the service was amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful, welcoming, and clean, with care put into every detail. We had a great stay and can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

The location is good, and our room was clean. Still, this is a very basic hotel and not particularly cheap. We were put in a room on what seemed like a rooftop terrace, above a very noisy house, so resting was impossible. There were just two bath towels, no hand towel, and no toilet paper, which we had to buy ourselves. The room wasn't cleaned, the TV remote barely worked, the closet had only one hanger, and there were no curtains on the window.

The room and bathroom were clean and in good shape, and I slept well. There's a small parking area, and downtown Tapalpa is about a 10-12 minute walk away. If you can get hold of your key, the place is worth it. The hotel is a strange place at the entrance to Tapalpa. On a long weekend, when the town was at full capacity, nobody was at reception. Even though I'd paid for a reservation, getting my key back was a challenge, and there was no one around if you needed anything. The room also wasn't cleaned from one day to the next.
