The setting at Chantli Mare is lovely, with a beautiful pool and grounds, thoughtful decor, and a calm atmosphere. Roberto and his wife clearly put care into the place, and the staff made us feel like family while treating us royally. The hotel sits right on a stunning beach in Boca de Iguana, Jalisco, Mexico, with wonderful views. We had a great meal at the restaurant. The Vietnamese craft meal was unusual and delicious, and the chocolate cake was a treat. The mixed drinks were tasty too, perfect for relaxing with the scenery around us. It was a beautiful visit, and I can’t wait to come back. 🌺

The beach is private, so there were hardly any people around when we walked and enjoyed it. There are a few towns about 30 minutes away if you want to see local life, and we enjoyed visiting a crocodile reserve too. I wasn’t expecting much as we drove up, but it turned out to be the most relaxing place we’ve been so far. The staff were amazing and professional, and the food was incredible. We’ll definitely go again.

I spent two weeks in La Manzanilla, walking the entire beach each day and stopping at Chantli Mare for lunch and a few drinks. The staff were amazing, and the manager and his wife were always around. We had some really good conversations. I’ll be back next winter for more sun, drinks, and beach time. Ricardo

Our server was kind and attentive, and the place is very nice, right by the beach. My pad Thai had crispy vegetables and complex flavors. The beef ribs and another Asian noodle dish ordered by others in our group were just as delicious.
