EH Ejecutivo Urban Hotel

A horrible stay in central Tepic. The room smelled awful and was really noisy. There was a large cockroach right beside the bed as soon as I came in, and a blood stain on the floor across the room. Please don't stay here.

The location is great, but the building is very old and poorly maintained. We arrived to a dirty hotel, and room 108 had a bathroom without a shower door, so water ran out. Hot water was only available from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the heater didn't work. It's a big place and could be nice if they maintained it.

The hotel itself was nice and clean. No phone in the room and no cooler, but those weren't the issue. Across the street, an open nightclub played techno so loudly that the windows vibrated until 2 a.m. I couldn't sleep at all until it stopped.

The patio bar was a nice spot to hang out, though mosquitoes were a pain. Service was pretty good on a slow night, with the servers focused on us. We ordered quite a bit while we stayed, but eventually it felt like they wanted us gone: the lights began flickering, the music went off, and the server brought the check without asking. The music selection was boring, so we asked to play our own, which seemed reasonable in such a small area, but their Bluetooth devices weren't working. The buffalo wings were okay, not BBQ, and the beer choices were limited. I would've ordered a lot more if they had cocktails.
