The pool was beautiful, and I felt very safe throughout our stay. The service was courteous and attentive, and the food was really good. Breakfast was a buffet included from 8:30 to 11:30, and you could order lunch or dinner all day. The authentic mole enchiladas were the best, the green and red enchiladas were delicious, and the tacos dorados never disappointed. We came for a three-day wedding and stayed four days. It's a 10-minute drive from town, and I also had the best massage here. Best time ever!

After more than 40 years of traveling and staying in hotels, this was the first time I was accused of taking a towel, and it wasn't even an exciting-quality towel. It felt like the hotel expects mostly one-time event guests and looks for ways to make extra money. The buffet was included in the more than USD 200 nightly price, but it was so bad that we had little choice except to pay for the overpriced à la carte food. That wasn't much better either. Tepozlan is a cool town with much better places to stay.

Hector is the man, and we had great food and a really good time. We felt safe, too. The drive to the main town only takes a few minutes. The taxis are cheap and straight shooters, and they'd rather be paid directly since ride share takes 40%.

I got an email saying they were charging my card, even though I'd never heard of this place. I'm staying at the Marriott in Mexico City and only use my card when absolutely necessary. When I called to ask what was going on, they apologized and said I needed to give five days' notice to cancel. I told them I didn't know their hotel and wasn't visiting that part of Mexico, but they still insisted on charging me for a Saturday stay, with today being Wednesday. I'd stay away from this place!

The place itself is nice, but service around the pool is very poor. They need training on serving drinks and collecting the bill, among other things.
