The shower water wouldn’t drain and just sat there, which was gross. The bathroom and shower were disgusting and dirty, with what looked like some kind of mold. There was no hot water either. We felt the price was too high for what we got, and wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Everything was very clean and organized. There’s a large parking lot, a pool, and a jacuzzi, and downtown is four blocks away.

The rooftop restaurant’s panoramic view is well worth seeing, and there’s good parking. I find the place relaxing and always have a great time, so I’d return. The service is friendly and good. A room for four costs about $2000 per night, though the hotel sets the price and it can change by weekday or local events. The outdoor pool isn’t heated, so warmer months are best unless cold water doesn’t bother you. The jacuzzi stays warm and bubbly, and is open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm. On my last visit, I went during the week and the restaurant wasn’t open until the weekend. Continental breakfast is normally included in the room rate, but it wasn’t available that time. Rooms are nice and have a TV, air conditioning, and a standing fan. The room locks are very simple, though the hotel feels calm and reassuring. It’s a block from the main avenue, a bit far from Tepozteco, but that’s fine if you like walking and looking through the market stalls.
