Posada Meztitla

It's wonderfully quiet and pleasant, a good place to get away for a while. The center is a bit of a distance, but I found it worth the trip. The service and attention were excellent, and I'd gladly recommend it.

The room is basic, but it had what I needed, including a very clean mattress and fresh linens, a TV, internet, a sink, and a mini-fridge. The manager was really friendly and helpful, especially when booking taxis for me. The setting is quite secluded, though I felt safe. We walked to the Scout Center in daylight and late at night without trouble, and most of the street is well lit. I'd definitely stay again ⭐

I'd look elsewhere. It's a long way from downtown Tepoztlán, and the roads there aren't safe for regular cars. Pets are allowed, but there's no fence, so they might get out. The neighbors' loud morning music made it hard to rest. The grass was dry, there was no shampoo, and the open area gets used for event parking. The rooms themselves are simple but clean.

A lovely garden and a quiet setting at the foot of Tepozteco Hill make this a wonderful place. The room and bathroom are well equipped, and Mario, the owner, is incredibly friendly. Definitely recommended.
