Collection O Hotel Monte Agave

Avoid booking here if you don’t want a terrible experience. They have a bad habit of saying the app canceled the reservation, then charging double. The rooms are in awful condition, and there was no hot water, so you can’t shower. Our room overlooked a cliff, and you could fall. Horrible. See the photos.

I picked this place because it allowed pets, and the photos on the hotel app looked promising. The trouble started as soon as we arrived: our first room had no curtains, the next was dirty and in poor shape, and the third had no water. At 3 am someone knocked and asked whether we'd ordered room service, even though there was no phone in the room. It made no sense and felt like an attempt to rob us. The curtains were see-through too, and I could make out people looking into the room at night. Someone took 15,000 from my purse, and the hotel refused to take responsibility, saying there were no security cameras. The place is on a cliff and has no cameras. When we called, the woman who said she owned it called it a motel, though the app listed it as a family hotel. Her only offer was that she had other accommodations in Vallarta and Guayabitos where we could stay whenever we wanted. Do not stay here. They stole from my room and won't take responsibility.

We arrived to find the room uncleaned and the bed still unmade. There was also a payment problem with our Expedia booking: staff asked us to pay at the property and said Expedia hadn't told us the payment was due. They charged me twice, and I still haven't managed to get one of the two charges refunded. Terrible service.

Al llegar, el hotel me dijo que Booking había cobrado una cantidad alta y que les pagara directamente, asegurando que ellos conseguirían que Booking me reembolsara. Fue una estafa total. Presenté un reclamo con Booking y me respondieron que el cobro no funcionaba así y que mi solicitud no procedía, así que terminé pagando dos veces por culpa de este hotel. Me comuniqué con el hotel por teléfono y WhatsApp, pero nunca me dieron una respuesta. Ahora el nombre que aparece en WhatsApp es hotel montaña, aunque eran Hotel O posada. Tengan cuidado, son unos estafadores.
