Jose in the breakfast area was fantastic, the only really good service I got. Maybe he should be made general manager and try to turn this place around. I was meant to stay three nights, but left after one. The hotel is in poor shape, and the apartment-style room felt empty, oddly laid out, and undecorated. None of its windows let you see outside. They advertise A/C, but there’s only one unit in the living room, leaving the bedroom and dining room warm. It also leaked water onto the floor. The boiler gave only boiling-hot or cold water, nothing in between. When I raised these problems, staff didn’t seem interested in helping and refused to refund the unused nights.

The place may look new and nice, but the rooms get very hot and the A/C won’t cool them. There’s a TV in the living room but none in the bedroom, and it just wasn’t worth it. Worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Tijuana. I don’t know why Choice is putting its name on this place.

I checked out right away. The apartment was much too hot to sleep in, and I ended up on the living room floor because the small A/C unit there couldn’t cool the roughly 600-square-foot space. There’s no TV in the bedroom, only one in the living room. The rooms are larger, almost like small apartments, but that setup didn’t work for me. I own a Choice hotel franchise and will report this hotel. Run away.

The rooms are modeled very nicely.

I liked the hotel and had a decent stay, until I realized I’d left some things in my room. When I called, they had no record of anyone finding anything. It really sucks to think there’s no recourse if you forget something at this hotel.
