I felt safe here as a solo woman, and the staff were very friendly. The location is hard to beat, close to cafes, restaurants, and shopping, with bars and the main strip nearby too. I booked for the last night of my trip through Mexico and spent it watching movies with takeout. The rooms are clean, with big beds that feel nicely in between soft and firm, a TV, AC, and clean bathrooms stocked with complimentary soap, shampoo, and conditioner. They still seem to be building out about half the hotel, and the construction starts early, so expect to hear it. My room had a strong fragrance, though not an unpleasant one. I'm sensitive to perfumes, so I opened a window, no big deal. The city sounds didn't bother me, but this is a busy area. The open layout looks nice to me, though I can see business travelers wanting a desk or table. They're still working on minor details in the rooms. I'll book here again.

Great location and a sick vibe, plus the staff are amazing. I think one employee was named Alex Morgan?? He stayed patient while I was having a panic attack. I felt embarrassed, but he remembered my name every morning.

I don't feel this new hotel is safe for visitors who aren't local to Mexico. I had a dispute with a local over a transaction. When we couldn't agree, the other person started blackmailing me and sent a local gangster to attack me with a metal pipe. After the hotel learned about the dispute, they kicked me out six hours before my stay ended. They didn't try to side with their guest. They also handed my California driver's license to the local blackmailer without asking me, giving him another way to target me. I lost the license. The attack left me with a minor concussion from the pipe hitting my cheek. Local Policia took me to the station for first aid and then to the PedWest crossing. Worried about the concussion, I spent the rest of the day in an ER in the USA. The hotel didn't involve local Policia. They arrived only after I was dizzy and close to blacking out. This may sound wild, but I lost money, time, and my health because of what happened and the hotel's response.

A simple, safe budget stay, with modern suites just a few blocks from the main Av. Revolucion strip.
