Really cute and homely, and you can’t beat the price! Unless you’ve got a bludgeon capeable of hitting not just objects, but concepts themselves.

This felt like a bait and switch. I booked through AirBnB based on photos that made the room look nice while hiding how nasty it was. The woman accepted the booking without mentioning construction right in front of the room, where they were building a cement staircase amid noise and dust. When I arrived, I had to pick from other rooms that were filthy, smelly, uninhabitable, and had NO SINK IN THE ROOM, despite being advertised as having a private bathroom. She could have warned me about the construction before accepting, but instead tried to present the horrible rooms as a courteous offer. The pressure was high. She also advertises on AirBnB without naming the place, apparently to scrub her miserable reputation. In her response to my AirBnB review, she alleged racism and made other claims I say are false. She said I used an electric blanket and didn’t want to pay for electricity, but I don’t even own one. She said I wanted breakfast, though I wouldn’t eat there for all the tea in China. She complained that I wanted all the amenities, when I only wanted what was advertised. A sink for brushing my teeth or washing my hands doesn’t seem like too much to ask. As for racism, I came to stay in Mexico and in AirBnB rooms in local people’s homes because I’m racist? Maybe that’s why she told me, “You're in Mexico, don't expect people to do what you ask...” Who’s racist? Avoid this nasty mess and this unscrupulous woman. AirBnB refunded my money right away, minus the one night I had to stay. They rarely do that, but the case was so blatant and backed by photos that they had no choice.

The staff are super friendly, and the place is clean and well organized. I recommend it for a nice, calm stay. It’s kid friendly, too!

The room was clean and comfortable, and the price was affordable. It was mostly quiet, and the WiFi worked well.
