The indoor pool and green grounds were lovely, and the cabins themselves were nice. Mine had a fireplace, which made a big difference because the cabin was very cold. The location is great, close to downtown Tlapujagua. The pool was supposed to be heated, but it was only 15°C 🥶. That was my only complaint, especially since I had children with me and they couldn’t enjoy swimming.

They changed my room to a really ugly one that smelled strongly of gas, even though I had a reservation. Then they asked me to leave two hours before checkout because they’d booked the room for other guests. A terrible experience, with very poor organization and what felt like bad intentions.

After a day exploring town and buying Christmas ornaments, these cabins are a comfortable place to unwind. They’re reasonably priced and about a 10-minute walk from downtown Tlalpujahua. The beds are comfortable, there are lots of blankets, the water gets nice and hot, and there’s internet access. The manager is friendly and easy to reach when you need help. Parking is available on site too.
