It's easy to walk here from the city center, just a couple of blocks. There's no parking and no entrance fee. Inside you'll find restaurants, bars, and little shops and workshops selling ornaments and Christmas decorations. Worth a visit.

The villa has lovely design details and is beautiful, though small. The activities are a lot of fun for children, and the price is very affordable for the location.

The location is central, but our stay was terrible. We checked in on September 27th and there was no light show. We wanted to shower, but the water heater never worked. The manager said the boiler was on, yet the water stayed cold. Without hot water, it felt like staying in a cheap hotel.

Villa Claus makes you feel like you're in a lovely European Christmas village, and it's a delightful stop in Tlapujahua. Entry is just $40 pesos and includes both villages, with this one being the larger of the two. It's well worth it if you're already in town. Weekends get crowded. If you want to catch the evening shows, arrive early for tickets since they sell out quickly.

We went in December, and the nightly show runs from 7 to 7:30, with lights, music, and snow. It's beautiful, with video mapping across all their villages. One village lets you decorate your own snow globe for just 20 pesos. The people are very friendly. Visiting during the week means you can enjoy it without the crowds.
