Breakfast was homemade and really good, and the family made me feel safe and looked after. The dog, Kira, was lovely too. Just know that after hours you need to text the host to get in, which could be tricky without cell service. The beds were very uncomfortable, and there’s no AC in summer. I’d stay again anyway.

You can get around Centro on foot in just a few minutes, so there’s no need for a taxi or Uber. I keep coming back here when I’m in the area because I prefer quiet, smaller places, and Tlaquepaque feels safe and has a local feel. The hosts are warm and make you feel at home. Rooms are traditional and comfortable, though this is more of a traditional stay than a luxury spa.

The hosts were incredibly friendly, engaging, and helpful. We stayed three nights, four of us across three rooms, and everyone found the beds comfortable. It was quiet, clean, and tastefully decorated, with excellent WiFi. There was plenty of hot water, though if you’re first up in the morning, you may have to wait a bit. Breakfast was included and very good, with eggs cooked how you like them, toast, fruit, and coffee. Parking was included a short walk away, two blocks down, which we appreciated since parking in Tlaquepaque is limited. We’d stay here again if we’re lucky enough to return, provided there’s availability.

Luis waited for us even though our flight landed two hours late. The room was small but comfortable, breakfast was nice, and the staff were friendly. We were welcomed by a resident bunny in the lovely courtyard. It’s a sweet little place, not far from the action.
