The front desk was terrific, and the woman there was really nice. Breakfast was less welcoming: the man at the counter just looked at me, then gestured me in after I gave my room number. I also expected more from the Marriott brand after staying at the Westin in Monterrey right before this one. Getting just one 600ml bottle of water per day was disappointing, and another litre at the “market” cost 60 pesos. The views aren't much to write home about. It's an average three star hotel, with not much else to say.

Housekeeping was inconsistent. Sometimes there were no water bottles or towels, and the room wasn't always cleaned properly. I also skipped breakfast because the restaurant atmosphere wasn't up to par and the staff seemed indifferent. At arrival, nobody at the front desk greeted me. My stay at Courtyard by Marriott Toluca fell well short of the Marriott standard I expected, and I wouldn't recommend it. I hope they address these service issues for future guests.

The front desk staff were very nice, and Alexandra was lovely and beautiful, with all due respect. Breakfast could use more variety, and there's no room service.

The constant police sirens on the busy highway outside were the one nuisance for me, day and night. Still, the rooms are decent and the hotel is in a central, safe spot near large businesses and several good restaurants. Breakfast in the restaurant was good, with quick, outstanding service. For dinner, there's an Argentinian steakhouse attached to the building, plus the hotel's own Bistro, a more affordable choice. I'd stay here again if I visit Toluca.
