The breakfast was great, and the restaurant staff helped make up for the room letdown. We don’t eat meat or cheese, and they were very accommodating. The waiter was excellent and helpful. I love the hotel’s architecture and decor. Unfortunately, our room wasn’t properly stocked: we needed clean sheets because the ones there were dirty, as well as pillows since the bed only had decorative ones, and towels. The front desk staff were very helpful in getting those things sorted out.

The front desk staff were really nice, but the rest of this place was a gross dump. On a previous stay it had been fine, but not this time. My room was a dark little dungeon inside the building with no outside light or air. The coffee pot was disgusting and moldy, and the sink had no hot water pressure. I don’t eat pork, so I asked if they could make scrambled eggs without it. They charged me 40 pesos, about what breakfast costs at a Fonda, so why would I eat the gross breakfast here? They ran out of coffee, leaving only sugary drink mix.

The newly remodeled place was clean and nice, but there’s no shower door, and the sink sprays water when the faucet is turned all the way on, maybe because it wasn’t installed properly. Watch for the big unpainted speed bump right out front. I was looking for the hotel and didn’t see it, so I went over it hard.

The rooms are spacious and neat, and the cleaning staff are very attentive. Great service, and there’s a pool to relax in. I’ll definitely be back.

The included breakfast is great, and the service and amenities are good. It’s comfortable too. The location isn’t as good, since there aren’t many worthwhile places to eat or visit nearby.
