A lovely place, highly recommended for resting and having good French food.

The grounds feel roomy and peaceful, with gardens, a restaurant, and Wi-Fi. There are only a few rooms, so parking is limited, but the hotel is clean and pleasant. The pool is medium-sized and works well for families. There’s no air conditioning, and the rooms use mesh doors instead of solid ones to let air through.

The owner’s French cooking is delicious, and the pool stays at a refreshing, just-right temperature. Casa Marly is easy to reach, about an hour and a half from the city, and a welcome break from the noise and pollution. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have an old-fashioned charm; the gardens are gorgeous, too. Pets are welcome, yet everything is still very clean. I’ll come back whenever I can.

Erik and Françoise are wonderful hosts, and the food is fresh and really good. I’ve stayed here three times now and still love it. With just a few rooms, it feels small and the service is more personal. It’s a great spot to switch off and relax.

The immaculate garden and wonderful staff make this small hotel a pleasant place to stay, and pets are welcome. Each room has different decor and is comfortable. The lack of Wi-Fi is inconvenient in such an isolated spot. There’s no air conditioning either, and the fans don’t quite make for a comfortable stay.
