Here it’s all about tranquility: sun, a cold beer, and the waves rolling onto the shore. The food and drinks are good and reasonably priced, and the staff provide great service. A tremendously sexy, chic hotel on Trocones Beach with a seriously chill vibe.

We asked whether the cancellation policy could be flexible because a possible work trip might conflict with our stay. They misunderstood and cancelled the trip without our agreement, then charged us the full stay amount. They haven’t accepted responsibility, and I’ve now been dealing with a 3+ month fight with them and amex to get the charges removed. I can’t tell whether this was a language barrier or dishonorable business practice, but the lack of accountability is extremely frustrating. I’d avoid booking in case you end up dealing with the same kind of ordeal.

The beach dinner was amazing, especially with those gorgeous sunsets, and the front desk staff were accommodating whenever I needed something. It’s a lovely, relaxing stretch of beach, and the hotel was clean with comfortable beds and good AC. Noise from the neighbors could carry in because the balcony doors don’t close all the way. The food was good apart from one meal that wasn’t great. Service can be a bit slow, so it helps to expect that. A perfect place to let your worries drift away.

The beach was beautiful, uncrowded, and had a really chill vibe. I enjoyed the hotel’s design and cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. The shower is covered but open to the outdoors. The food was good and service very good. I had a great stay for 4 nights in early February.
