We found parking easy and convenient when we arrived by car. Just be sure to enter through Papaya Playa Project, since that is the access point for Art Village and it can be confusing at first. The resort is connected to Papaya Playa Project, an iconic place. Breakfast wasn't included in our rate, but they offered us a good deal at check-in. It was served at the Papaya Playa Project restaurant, and the delicious food in that beautiful beachfront setting was well worth it. Victoria, the experience manager, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and shared some great tips. There are different experiences you can add to a visit, and we chose a breathwork session with an excellent coach. The stay was peaceful and immersed in nature, with thoughtful hospitality and unique experiences. We'd happily return.

Waking up right on the beach was priceless, and the hotel is reasonably priced by Tulum standards. The cabanas are in a beautiful setting, and while the rooms are rustic, they have plenty of charm and thoughtful details. Service was outstanding, with the staff making a real effort to anticipate what we might need. Breakfast was excellent and fairly priced, though the restaurant overall is pretty expensive. Special thanks to Vic and Caleb for their warmth and helpful insights.

When I arrived, the gate was chained shut and the place looked closed. I peeked in at a dark, dusty reception, then called. Another hotel answered, Papaya Playa Project. After some searching I found the entrance, but couldn't get in. Security said no, and I had to call three times before they let me through. I got lost three times going to and from my bungalow and had to be rescued. The staff were very friendly and nice, but if you like paying 110 mex for a small beer and 1,100 mex for dinner, this is the place for you.

My family and I had our best vacation ever here. The views are amazing and the vibe is great. I’d highly recommend it if you want to reconnect with yourself and nature.

Avoid this place. It's one of the worst hotels I've stayed at, and the customer service was about as bad as it gets. The staff acted like helping guests was a favor. Also, don't be fooled, Papaya Playa Project is the same hotel, with the same entrance, check-in, beach, pool, restaurant, and grounds.
