For dinner, a wonderful chef cooked a marvelous Christmas meal right in our kitchen. The private access to their beautiful Cenote let me swim with cute little fish, which I loved. The property is extremely luxurious. I’ve stayed in many top hotels around the world, but K NAJ is the best. I came solo from Japan and was welcomed so warmly. The people here showed wonderful hospitality and supported me with care. It became one of the most unforgettable stays of my life, and I definitely want to come back to Mexico, mainly to visit K NAJ again. Thank you so much, K NAJ, see you again!

It’s hard to find, but this beautiful little home community is tucked into the jungle, all interconnected, with its own private cenote. The woman who checked us in was friendly, went out of her way to help, and sorted out every situation where we needed accommodation. This place is a real gem and an absolute must experience.

We stayed at Casa Celosia, and the kitchen had what we needed, though it wouldn’t be equipped for something like Thanksgiving dinner. That suited our needs and expectations perfectly. The water pressure could be better, but the ACs worked and the beds were comfortable. Yadaira, the property manager, was on site during the day, and the gate guard had the gates open for us before we could even blink. The location worked well for us with a rental car. It kept us away from typical Tulum and was quite close to the cenote cluster, including Dos Ojos, Sac Actun, and Tankah, as well as the property’s own cenote. I’d been set on staying here after seeing the photos, and I don’t regret it.

The design of the rooms is beautiful, and the whole place is stunning. The owner and workers were extremely kind and helpful, making our stay just perfect. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tulum area. We’re already planning a return trip!

The private cenote, private pool, breathtaking view, peaceful bird sounds, affordable price, and working AC were all wonderful. The place is absolutely gorgeous, and the nature and beauty really did not disappoint. We wanted to give it five stars, but the comfort, cleanliness, and supplies were a different story. The home we booked had a problem, so they moved us to another at no extra charge. I’m glad there was one available, though we’d chosen the original for its larger bed and ended up with a much smaller one. The beds were too small for two people, and the beds and pillows were really hard. We asked them to make up another bed so we could sleep separately, but they wouldn’t. It felt like booking a hotel room with two beds and finding that they’d only made one because there were just two guests. Only one of the three bedrooms was made up, and just two of the three bathrooms had been cleaned. There was only one hand towel for a bathroom and soap in two of the three. We got just two towels and had quite an ordeal getting two more. We like to have one for the shower and one for the pool, and they said they wouldn’t charge us for the extra towels, as I’d hope. There were no spare blankets, which wasn’t a huge issue, but would have been useful for watching TV or for someone sleeping on the couch when the beds were too small. Expedia’s listing says the bathrooms have hairdryers, but there weren’t any. Half the plates in the cupboard still had bits of food on them. The dish sponge was past its use and very dirty, and seemed to cause a lot of fruit flies in the kitchen. We didn’t want to use it on the dishes. There was no dish soap, tea towel, or paper towel, and none of the lamps had lightbulbs. A couple of chairs by the pool would be a nice addition. I’ve never experienced anything quite like this, even though we travel a lot and are usually easy to please. We’d probably come back for the beauty alone, but would likely bring our own supplies, including towels and soap. For comfort, it was 2/5, cleanliness 1/5, and stock of linens, towels, and soap 1/5.
