The pool was big and clean, and there was plenty of parking. We never had to park far from our rental. Our apartment was clean and really nice, and the concierge staff were excellent whenever we needed help, always quick to respond. The complex sits toward the back of the resort. There’s also a grill guests can use and an outdoor dining space. I didn’t try the gym, though it looked well equipped.

We’d booked a nice apartment and I was looking forward to the vacation 😎. At the last minute, they said they couldn’t rent it to us anymore. We were offered another apartment at a higher price, which we couldn’t afford, so they canceled our booking just like that. Was it a scam? I don’t know, but it was disappointing.

We booked through Airbnb well ahead and paid half right away. About a month before we were due to leave, they told us the room was no longer available and said we’d have to pay another $400 or they would cancel. We couldn’t pay it, so they canceled on us. They gave no real explanation.
