The common area had sofas, hammocks, and a kitchen, and the dorm room had AC on all day. It has all the amenities you'd expect at a good hostel. The location is convenient too, a few blocks from the ADO bus station and near some nice restaurants. I had a great stay at BAU Tulum. The receptionist showed me around and gave me great Tulum recommendations. I'd stay here again if I return.

I switched to another bed, but it had bed bugs too. The sheets were infested, and some of the bugs were large while others were smaller. It seems the hostel may have had them for a while.

It’s an easy walk from the bus station, which is handy when Tulum taxis are so expensive. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and everything was super clean. There’s a nice pool and a comfortable spot to relax or get some work done. Highly recommended!

Juan, the manager, was really professional and helpful, and the rest of the staff were lovely too. Breakfast came in three different options, and every one I tried was excellent. The dorm opened straight onto the pool area and had AC and curtains. Bathrooms stayed clean, and the showers had hot water, which felt great after a day diving in the cenotes. There’s a small pool for cooling off, plus a shared kitchen and a large-table area for meals or laptop time. The hotel is modern and nicely located near the bus station, but far enough from the main road to be quiet. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

This has become my home base in Tulum. I’ve stayed here several times while reviewing hostels for my YouTube channel, and I’ll be back again. The dorms have AC running all day, the internet is good, and the staff, pool, location, and breakfast are all great.
