The food is the main thing that kept this from being a five-star stay for me. The restaurants look beautiful and the menus sound appealing, but I thought the meals cost a lot for the quality. After the first night, I ate elsewhere around Tulum for most of my meals. I really liked the property, the relaxed feel, and how kind the staff were. Aylin deserves a special thanks for helping arrange a room change. The wellness sessions, including yoga, breathwork, and ice baths at Yaan Healing Sanctuary and Nomade, were included and added a lot to my stay. I also had a massage at Yaan. It was pricier than I expected, but very good, and access to the sauna and steam room made the cost feel worthwhile.

The setting and rooms at BE tulum were amazing, and the front desk team was very responsive and attentive. They contacted us on WhatsApp before we arrived and checked in during our stay. Ivan at the restaurant and Felipe at the beach made things especially nice with their caring service. Food and drinks can be expensive, though we really enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the restaurant by the beach. We had a fantastic stay and would recommend it!

We chose Be Tulum for our honeymoon and it was just the kind of stay we wanted. The place feels quiet and thoughtful, with the jungle behind it and the beach right there. It never got crowded or hectic. Navil, Aylin, and Raquel made everything feel easy and special. Their service was warm and considerate without ever feeling overdone. Our room was beautiful and private, and we spent far more time than expected in our plunge pool. The beach setup was great, and the food and drinks were good too. Everything ran smoothly. It’s a splurge, but for a romantic, relaxing honeymoon it felt worth it. We’d absolutely come back.

The grounds look beautiful, our room was nicely decorated, and the staff were kind and attentive. Still, for what it costs, the value felt low. I kept thinking the same money might get me a stay at the Four Seasons in Maui. The WiFi was unreliable around the property. There was no signal at all in the beachside restaurant, and even the spots with reception kept disconnecting. The service was good for ordinary requests, but they struggled with a simple special one: I asked for a basic fish taco at breakfast and was told they couldn’t make it because it wasn’t on the menu. They advertise complimentary breakfast, but that only covers an American breakfast. In Mexico, that felt like a bait and switch to me.

I stayed here last week and had a great time. The concierge team, Navil, Aylin, and Raquel, were fantastic, and the wait staff at Marezia were wonderful. By day two, the main staff already knew me by name. It’s a lovely place to unwind, and I’ll return.
