Hotel Arco Iris Tulum

The location is handy and central, easy to walk around, and only one block from the bus terminal. Staff were friendly and did their best speaking English. The room was big enough, and there was Sky TV, but a fridge and a bin for rubbish would be useful additions. The main issue was the sink, which has a bizarre design that splashes water everywhere and gives you nowhere to put a towel. The pool was nice and the gym was okay.

Ezekiel was friendly and really helpful, which made my stay pleasant. The room was clean, and the hotel is right in the middle of the strip, with loads of food and shops just around it.

We got rescued from our previous hotel, Luna Maya stay away from there, and were so glad to end up here. Linda at reception was friendly and helpful, and Gabrielle cooked brilliantly at the cafe attached to the hotel. Guests get a discount there, too. The rooftop pool is beautiful, with great views over Tulum. Rooms were comfortable and smelled lovely. The beds were comfy, and the AC and fan kept the room cool. I especially liked the spacious shower and warm water.

We only had one night here, which is my only regret. The hotel is affordable, comfortable, and has a very helpful team who answer questions quickly. Even though it's right in central Tulum and next to ADO, it feels quiet and private. We spent an afternoon at the rooftop pool, which sits well above the other buildings and looks out over town toward the treetops. The staff were friendly, and I loved the king suite shower. The restaurant was also excellent, with delicious food, welcoming and courteous staff, and good deals for hotel guests. I can't recommend this place enough.
