It’s easy to get away from the main beach crowds here, so this hotel was perfect for us. The lagoon is just a short walk away, and you can rent a bike to reach the main beach in about 15 minutes. Rooms were quiet and spacious, and the employees were especially kind and helpful. Very reasonably priced.

We had a great time. The rooms were clean and really nice, and the service was very helpful. The food was awesome too, especially if you want a break from Mexican food. This is probably the best pasta restaurant around, with fresh pasta and tasty sauces. Breakfast was very good as well.

The staff were friendly, quick, and relaxed, so we could enjoy the evening without feeling rushed. Portions are generous, and the setting is beautiful. They make homemade linguini in several dishes, alongside a few non-pasta options. The food was delicious and the service efficient. Cash only, but you should eat here.

There’s a pleasant garden-like setting with a pool, and it’s an affordable place to stay in the area. The rooms are spacious, though ours had an odd layout and a very open bathroom. I also wish bike rentals were included instead of charged separately.

A very nice Italian-style restaurant in northern Akumal, with some Mexican touches in the dishes. The Viva Mexico pasta was excellent, with a nice bite but no real spiciness. The food is great, and the service was attentive and very good.
